Amibay.co.uk is the unofficial successor of the recently closed Amiga site Amibench.org. In complement to the old site, every retro hard- or software can be sold or purchased, a restriction to Amiga only ware doesn't exist anymore.

What is AmiBay ?

AmiBay is a NON-PROFIT site intended to serve the retro computing community

AmiBay provides a no-cost way to buy or sell your retro hardware and software without the burden of auction fees. If you are looking to sell your item(s) at inflated market prices then this site is not for you and you should try the established auction sites.

With the loss of Amibench, AmiBay was a great idea. I hope it becomes popular and useful for Amiga and retro fans. The best way for everyone to help is to use AmiBay instead of EBay to buy and sell you retro items. That way no middle men are making a profit out of our beloved retro items except for the sellers themselves.

Classicamiga will offer whatever support we can to help this project and wish the development team of AmiBay good luck with the project.

Let's hope it gets popular and that people starts using it as soon as possible. I for one will use it if I have something specific for sale, or if there's anything I want to buy for my Amiga. Good luck to the Amibench crew!

Well guys, things are starting to pick up on Amibay, we have 34 members, not bad for a site that's only been up a few weeks. The Recycle Bin area was an instant hit, we thought it might be... smilies/smiley.gif

I am going to start cleaning my loft out over the next few weeks and will have lots of retro PC hardware that will be going on Amibay.

By the way, thanks a lot for your support of our brainchild, please spread the good word...everyone is welcome.
