The author of the Fish disks has passed away on Friday, 20th April 2007. He was well known for his collection of this Public Domain
Software, which made him popular in the Amiga scene. There were about 1000 Fish disks released, officially known as AmigaLibDisks.

That is sad news indeed. Fred Fish was a very well known and respected member of the Amiga community. I used to collect his Fred Fish Public Domain CD collections as they were a great resource containing the best of the Amiga PD scene back in the Amiga days.

When I got an Amiga 500 from eBay, it came with hundreds of disks, I needed them as I had no more spare disks. That were only Fish disks with loads of freeware stuff, excellent. I still have them.
