Larry, Curley and Moe Stinks.

In the annuals of Amiga history Cinemaware have produced some of the best early games for the Amiga, such as Defender of the Crown and It Came From The Desert. This however is not one of them. Whilst the others could have won Oscars this is too bad for a Razzie!

The plot's a simple one. Grandmas orphanage is under threat by an evil Banker. You have to "control" Larry, Curly and Moe into collecting money to save the orphanage. If this was a platform game you'd be jumping over everything collecting money. It's not. You have to complete sketches from Three Stooges films to make money. Each sketch takes 1 day and you have 30 days to get the money needed. Unfortunately for you to do these sketches you have to stop a randomly moving hand over one of 6 choices. These choices range from just watching the characters picking money up, to pie fights, to getting your finger trapped in a mousetrap and losing a life. Unfortunately it doesn't matter what you do you will never have any real control so you may as well just give your joystick over to the nearest chimpanzee and have fun seeing how long it takes for it to get bored and beat you to death with the joystick.

If you are a fan of the Three Stooges you might have fun trying to answer the trivia questions, I say trying because although you may know the answer being able to control the game so that the Stooges give the right answer is another thing.

The only saving grace of this game is in the intro and that's only because you start the game up and think you're going to be playing Defender Of The Crown but then the Stooges come along and spoil your fun. Play this game only to see how bad it is.

Totally agree with Buleste's review, what's the point of that game? Why did Cinemaware publish such rubish? (Oh, what a rime smilies/smiley.gif)
