The Best Combat Simulator ever

A Perfect Score Game!!

A unic gameplay, realistic, and with tons of missions, planes and equipment. Yes not only you'll have fun with his more than 40 planes (OTAN and URSS), in addition you'll can fly in many situations as refuelling, back to re-arm to you base, landing on a carrier, bombarding an enemy base, and I love this one: Load out a group of delta forces over war zone!!, steal a enemy plane, anti-ship missions, secret stealth missions, xperimental flights, photo missions, air to air, air to ground, both at time. And a lot of misiles, bombs, torpedos, and others. The only bad thing is that you'll have to fly always in the same map and no matter what plane you chose, you'll have always the same HUD and cockpit. But the physics of the plane will change, and that is great. The air force affects, the weight of your bombs, of your plane, your fuel, wow!! (it's 1991 game!!) and...

" The weapons were destructive to any object, no matter what the device or target. I have witnessed a Forger get hit AFTER launching from a carrier by a Mk83 slick released by a B-1B Lancer."

... attention to detail...

" Air density - this caused problems with many aircraft engines. Low level, the afterburner could instantly kick in, but get it above, say 25,000ft and you may have to wait several seconds or more for it to open up."

Anyway is incredible for a sim that came on ONE floppy disk - 720 K (the other disk is only the presentation of the game, GREAT VIDEO FOR THAT YEAR)! Nowadays it would require 2 CD-ROM.... no, make that 2 DVDs ! Ah these were the grand old days...

I'm still waiting for a game with all this options in planes, missions and armament, almost reached by: Lock On & USAF in late years, but not accomplished!!
