Hello, hello!

Another Saturday and another selection of demos for your eyes to look at. It has been a nice week with plenty of activity on the www.classicamiga.com forum, which is a good thing.
Today it is rainy hear in the Pacific Northwest of the USA; Halloween is approaching rapidly, and in a couple of weeks time, people will go bananas over scary monsters, Frankenstein clones and horror movies. For the kids, it's the candy they will get that matters. Be sure to feed those that meet up at your doorstep with snacks, so that they won't wrap th  house in rotten eggs and toilet paper, because if they do, you would have to spend a lot of your time cleaning it up again.

The presidential elections is coming up to here in the US. It's mainly Bush vs Kerry, but who will win? Because of the political atmosphere that surrounds us these days, I will recommend watching a couple more of the more politically styled demos. Hopeyou will find that interesting.

Ok, I guess it is time to move on to this weeks selection. Buckle up, and get ready to join the eyecandy ride..

Demo #001 - "Fallen Angels" by Venture

Venture was a Polish demogrup that was active in the 1990's. They released ordinary productions, but also some very unique demos that helped setting focus on problems in our society. "Fallen Angels", released in 1997 at a Polish demoparty called "Intel Outside 4", belongs to this category. The reason for thisi s that theme of the demo has its roots in the tragedy of drug abuse, and Venture does a splendid job with portraying the effects such things can have on a man or woman. The demo is sad in many aspects, and that is a sign of quality, becauseit manages to move the viewer  Along with usual effects, there is also videoclips included in the demo that the crew made themselves.

In short, "Fallen Angels" is a demo well worth watching. It is special, but that should not scare you away. Enjoy!

Requirements:

I think you should have an AGA machine with a MC68030, plus fastram to run this
production.

Demo #002 - "Muscles" by Impulse

From Hungary comes a demo named "Muscles", and it fits the name really good. It was released at the Polish "Intel Outside" party in Polandin 1996, and won the competition without any problems.

This demo has some really awesome effects that are still impressivetoday in the year of 2004. Also, it contains pixled images that is some ofthe finest I've ever seen. I will not tell you much more about it, because Idon't want to spoil your fun - the only thing I will say is that this demoshows some serious MUSCLES!

Requirements:

MC68020, AGA Chipset, 2MB Chip and 4MB Fast

Download it from:

Demo #003 - "Closer" by CNCD

This was the winnerdemo in the demo competition at The Party in 1995. It was made by the Finnish democrew CNCD, which is known for their quality releases.

What I like about this demo is the effects and how smooth and well done they are. You have giant spiked 3D objects rotating on the screen, a voxelscape with fog, and also a tunnel effect worth seeing. There is not many pictures in thedemo, but those that are suits the production well. The music is hard and quite special, and you will see what I mean when running the demo. It is quite wicked to be honest, but I like it. wink.gif

Requirements:

MC68020, AGA Chipset, 2MB Chip

Suck it down from:

Demo #004 - "The Puppets" by IRIS

In the spirit of the pre-Halloween atmosphere, I bring you the slideshow "Puppets" by the old (and still active) democrew IRIS. As you probably remember, I included a slideshow by Gods last week, and I've had no negative feedback about this. Therefore I thought that it might be good to include another this time. Just let me know if you want to see demos and not other kinds of productions, ok? Thanks in advance for feedback.

Over to the production itself. The pictures are made by the Polish graphician Yon, and as you will see, he has his own style. The art is scary and did make animpression on me, and the same goes for the atmosphere of the slideshow ingeneral. They did a good job on this production.

So, go ahead and run the slideshow! Let the spooky feeling grab hold of you! biggrin.gif

Requirements:

MC68020, AGA chipset, 2MB Chip

Grab it from:

Demo #005 - "AHA Remix" by Apathy

This is hillarious! It is an intro made by Apathy, a crew which originally originated in Norway, but now has members abroad. It does not contain any magnificent effects or fantastic artwork, but it has one thing - humour. So if you are up for a laugh, then you should run this production, because it is very funny. I'm sure you will enjoy it, because so many others I know have.

Let's go!!

Requirements:

MC68020, AGA chipset, 2MB Chip

Leech it here:

That was it for this week. Five completely different productions have been included this time, and all of them are of good quality in my opinion. So,hope you will enjoy the show and that you will not have any problems running the productions.

Also, if you want to give some feedback on the recommendations, please feel free to make a new topic in the demo forum. Also, I hope to see some discussions regarding the productions - what are your views on what you have seen? Anything you liked or disliked?

Until next time, I wish you a pleasent weekend and a nice time in general. See you in the forums on
